Bus Information

For current and enrolled families, please check your child’s bus route information is correct in Parent Lounge

(Student Details > General Details)

All students travelling on buses must abide by the Department of Main Roads and Transport Code of Conduct.

Tamborine Mountain College and the bus companies require all our students travelling on buses to wear the fitted seat-belt. Failure to do so puts students at risk and is in fact breaking the law.

NB: Parent contact details are shared with the relevant transport company.

For morning bus services, please refer to timetables below for route & service times.

Afternoon bus services depart the College by 3:00pm.

Students must go straight to the gazebo area without delay and have their bus pass ready for the driver.

Bus travel concession may apply for other catchment areas. Tamborine Mountain College families pay a family fare when travelling on TM Coaches, making it comparatively low fees* for bus transport.

*$35 per family for ten trips, equating to $3.50 each way, paid directly to TM Coach driver

Travel Bursary & Government Rebates

Families utilising Logan Coaches may be eligible for a TMC Travel Bursary (TB) so that your child can attend the school of your choice rather than the closest state school.

If your weekly charge exceeds $35 per family*, please complete the Travel Bursary form found in Forms & Information and submit to accounts@tmc.qld.edu.au for processing.

The difference will be credited to your account each term before the account is sent out. TMC will liaise directly with Logan Coaches to audit the travel over the term to ensure that the TB continues to apply.

The Qld Government also provides a rebate under the Non State Schools Transport Assistance Scheme, where parents can apply for a rebate at the end of each semester directly to DTMR:
